- I am a child of Africa! I have lived in London since February 1995, worked in Europe as a tour manager for 5 years and as a customer service manager and decided to train as a London City Guide in 2004. My passions are guiding and the transformation of Africa! I believe anything is possible and if we all did a little bit, the world would be a very different place! I am determined to make a difference and hope to enrol more people to take on the challenge of the transformation of Africa and living their lives to the full, doing what they love!

Origin of the word CASH:
The Latin capsa was a thing that held things - in other words, a box. The person who kept the box was called, by the French, an evolution from Latin, a caissier. To most people, the most interesting thing the box held and the person controlled, was MONEY! Thus the name of the container became the name of the thing contained in the box!
The centre of London is Charing Cross, from where all distances are now measured.
